Transformation

 

Based on the discovery session, together we will kickstart your transformation work towards your individual freedom which will be in keeping with our shared goals, as well as your individual and family vision. The work will undoubtedly vary from family to family as it will involve paying attention to and addressing the core individual needs and vision for you and your unique family. 

An important part of this transformation will be working on connecting you and your loved ones in different ways. Together, we will pay attention to the emotional aspects of your and your family’s experiences and work with you to go beyond the superficial, to mend the broken emotional connections, thus improving connectivity and ultimately create freedom of expression.

If working individually, it will be important to foster your capacity to connect to your own needs emotionally in order to propel your personal growth.

Regardless of your specific goals, as a result of the transformation sessions you will gain the following knowledge that is crucial when managing relationships:

  • How your mind is connected to your body, and how it affects what you do. 

  • How anxiety and stress feel, how they affect the whole of your body, and how you tend to cope with these sensations.

  • Tools to help you use anxiety in your favour, and to take control of your emotions.

  • Ways to understand what you and your loved ones feel, and how to express one’s feelings in more helpful ways.

  • Why your child/teen/partner is acting in certain ways, and how you can understand what they communicate through their behaviours. 

  • How to truly listen with greater acceptance and without offence. 

  • Ways of defusing conflict rather than acting out or reacting. 

  • What barriers stop you from getting on in life and how to break them down.

  • How to make better decisions and act in ways that make you feel more in control.

At the end of the transformation process, I will write a specific transformation manual (or ‘How to’) which you can use as a foundation for solving tricky day-to-day situations that we identified in our work together.

The exact number of sessions will vary depending on the specific dynamics and needs of you and you family. However, we can typically complete your transformation between 10 and 24 sessions, each lasting 60-90 minutes, depending on your specific circumstances.
